Microsoft Dynamics CRM Helps Vocational College Place Students
A new Australian case study has been published highlighting how Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 is being used an "xRM platform" to deliver a customised business solution to assist a college to track their students as they progress through various vocational work experiences.
The Australian Technical College – Perth South, is an independent vocational training secondary college. It prepares Year 11 and 12 apprentices for the Western Australian Certificate of Education while placing them in local industry where they learn in-demand skills.
The college had difficulty keeping track of students’ contact details and performance as they rotated between the college campus and local apprenticeships.
By using Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 as a relational database, the college collated all placement data against each student’s name, and was able to track the progress and success of apprenticeships. This helped ensure students learned skills that offered them the best chance of success.
