Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 with Office 2007 and Windows Vista

August 30, 2006 Leave a comment
Hi All –

Here is an important update regarding the compatibility of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 with Office 2007 and Windows Vista.

With the pending releases of Office and Windows products, a new level of productivity tools and a new generation of operating system will be available to the world. Microsoft is committed to releasing a compatibility update for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0. This will enable partners and customers to take advantage of Windows Vista and Office 2007 without waiting for a new version of Microsoft CRM.

Windows Vista availability will begin in November for businesses and January for consumers. We plan to release the Microsoft CRM 3.0 compatibility update at the same time as the worldwide release of Office 2007. We will complete final testing on the release versions of Office 2007, which is why we plan on releasing the update immediately after the Office 2007 release to manufacturing.

That’s all for today,

Dynamics CRM on TV, New Australian Resources List, CRM in the Australian press

Hi there! This is the 2nd posting to this blog. In today’s note, I’ll cover three items: (1) Dynamics CRM on TV, (2) New Australian Resources List, (3) CRM in the Australian press

  1. Microsoft Dynamics CRM will make a splash on national television this Sunday, September 3 at 8:30 am on the Nine Network. A big thank you to the team Microsoft Certified Partner – Snapdragon for their contribution to this exciting ‘Your Business Success’ episode. The half hour TV episode profiles the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 at a couple of customers of Snapdragon Consulting – Imaxeon and AFMA Services.
  2. I have added a new custom list to the Spaces site called ‘Key Australian Resources’ that highlights links to documents and other important items I get asked about a lot!
  3. In last week’s “Australian IT” section in The Australian newspaper, journalist Ben Woodhead covered CRM in the growing SMB market. The article is called “Big guns take aim at small biz” and is an interesting read about what the vendors are up to in Australia, including us here at Microsoft.

That is all for today. All the best until we meet againJ
